I don’t like to paint survivors of sexual trauma as psychologically “broken” because sex therapy is a thing and many people use sex as a mechanism for healing, exploration, etc. I think it’s unfair to say women aren’t orgasming because they’ve been abused.

I don’t think saying that women might not orgasm because of past trauma is a “pick me” statement, but it’s definitely harmful and spreads the narrative that women are “broken” and men have no work to do.

All and all people need to know about their bodies. Their genitals. Their reproductive systems. Everything. How it works. How it changes depending on your hormones. Too much gray around a subject everyone experiences.
