Do any of y’all have experience with IUD? I’m having bad periods and all of my doctors are pointing me that way.

I did but I had to get mine taken out because it was moving around too much. Vv painful. Next doc said they shouldn’t have given it to me period since i have no kids. You also wanna take into account any preexisting conditions.

Have they checked to make sure you don’t have any other underlining conditions causing the pain? Endometriosis. Fibroids. Pcos. PID. Etc etc.

Yes to PCOS But everyone is acting sort of blasé about that like there’s not much I can really do? Birth control hasn’t been working.

When I was first diagnosed I had recently gotten off of nuvaring and I had the worst period ever that I went to urgent care. You need to see what’s going on via ultrasound & a hormonal panel. Also you need to see how your weight/diet/sugar exacerbate pcos.

I’ve started eating carbs again and regained a bit of weight. I wonder if that is causing it.

Carbs are definitely a factor because that goes into the diabetic factor. As a natural management diet is the most important factor to managing pcos. Between sugar, carbs and liquor, caffeine, etc. look into the pcos diet. And maybe find an herbal doctor to help with
