I just saw and I am disgusted. I tell people all the time Uber is so unsafe. I work with the competition so I see a bit behind the scenes and Uber definitely drops the ball consistently.

Yea I worked in their contact center and it’s absolutely WILD the things that happen but this was unrelated. She didn’t get in the “wrong” Uber, she got in a car that she thought was her Uber. I don’t see anything mentioned that he was an actual driver for the platform.

Not necessarily unrelated. Other platforms like lyft have certain indicators I’ve had yet to see on Uber’s platform like the amp that lights up to tell ppl hey this is your ride.

I agree. She was leaving a bar so my best guess is that her judgement was impaired and if she missed signs of it being a different car altogether, she may have still missed it. It’s just unfortunate all around.
