The thing is: Women, Black women in particular are the REASON why therapy is not looked down on in our community. If the women are doing the work without the help of men, they need to be aware enough to know when to get help. They want to be coddled and use women for MHIs.https://twitter.com/Streetsyb/status/1110185667642998784 …

Y’all will not sit on Beyoncé’s internet spewing rhetoric that makes black women look like the enemy. WE BEEN TELLING THE MEN TO GO TO THERAPY! THEY NEED IT! WE ALL DO! This what y’all want tho, us dragging them there. Can’t help you if you can’t help yourself.pic.twitter.com/hgmDdenFcM

Saying “no one cares” is so self victimization shit and that’s why you get met with “seek therapy”. We see right through the tired as charade yet you won’t hit up google for remote therapy sessions. Ask your friends why they don’t care about your mental health then, Jamal.

I and many other people post resources for our people to get therapy and to have more self awareness towards the traumas we carry. Get up. Get help. Nobody is going to do it for you and the quicker you start the work the better your life will be.
