I’m not sure there’s been a study on the rates of black women donors dying more than non donors. I just know for me, I’d rather not take that chance on the donor aspect because I can control that. I can’t control being a bw.

I dont get why being a donor is seen as a chance. Thats not information doctors tend to know beforehand because it isnt relevant.

I’m not looking at the donor aspect as being a chance. When I die, I will donate my organs. But not a second before that natural death. I don’t need the knowledge of me being a donor and my organs being acceptable (O+ blood) as a reason to why care was lacking.
