lol. I made the
face cause I’m surprised a fit looking actress who was the hot girl for so many years developed a disease associated with poor diet & inactivity. -
I’m very very aware thin people can have trash diets (one of my best friends & track teammates had to be put on a diet at 17 cause she ate THAT badly. She had abs)... ...but I didn’t think an actress would risk it like that. also interested in what are the other causes of T2D

I’m saying she was young. 22 when diagnosed. She does the keto diet now. Idk how cuz I’m heard it bad for diabetes but hey she seems healthy now.
-
The hell was she eating. Damn.

Halle was initially type 1, but she is now “technically” type 2.
-
Doctors say it’s impossible. They misdiagnosed her based off of medical bias that you can’t be type 2 when you’re young & thin.
-
Oh wow. Didn’t know that.
-
I was shocked when I found that out. She attributes keto to her improvement.

Good fats really seem to help Black women’s bodies perform at their best.
-
If that’s the case lemme do some research because I know carbs are the enemy but I love them.

My body is best when I’m indulging on avocado and olives, and not really messing with white stuff. I treat myself on weekends, though.

I need to work on my self restraint because I’m sure it would help with my pcos. Except coffee.
