Since we on the topic of makeup, I just wanna say I’m finally comfortable going outside without it on. Like anything.
Instagram and YouTube got me early so I had to reprogram myself. I’m very proud of not needing it as a way to cope with facing the world.

And many of you can relate even though you only see it as a “hobby”. I’m not afraid to say I used makeup as a crutch and felt ugly without it. I had to literally force myself to use less and less products. I really wanna thank the resurgence of skincare for helping with this.

The same way that we are seeing people not being able to show themselves without a snap or insta filter, makeup does that in real time. Say what you want but makeup will transform your whole aesthetic and it’s hard to go back to looking at yourself bare. It’s jarring even lol.
