People with mental illnesses need to remember: You & your MI =\= Kanye & his We’ve seen this multiple times and it’s always when he’s off his meds and something triggers him. Do not project your MI onto Kanye.
You might feel like this is “Kanye being Kanye” but he was bipolar and not medicated then and he is very likely not medicated now. When he is medicated, he barely gets onto twitter or tweets very infrequently.

But as soon as he’s off the meds (because many bipolar people think they do not need it and can manage it on their own) and something triggers him (receiving that text message that sparked the original rants), this is what happens.

This is all not to say that Kanye isn’t in the right to feel upset about Drake allegedly threatening him. But we need to take our own personal issues out of it.

We may never know what it’s like to be famous. To be that talented. To be filthy rich. And to have to deal with bipolar disorder on top of it all. That is one hell of a concoction.

Was he not bipolar then? The fact of the matter is people are projecting onto this situation when we’ve seen this happen time and time again. This entire year is enough to know when he’s manic vs when he’s not.

Him speaking on it is not manic. The matter in which he is speaking on it is very on brand when he is not in the best space mentally. He’s come on here to apologize after and has admitted that he wasn’t medicated during portions of his rants.

If he tweeted like how he’s tweeting right now everyday, id be inclined to agree. But it ebbs and flows and with that knowledge of the past year alone, the way people have been able to use him for steer him, I cannot agree fully. I’ve seen normal for Kanye here & this isn’t it.
