SNS is more durable than acrylic, yet lighter. Also, in acrylic application they usually use acetone to apply the powder or polymer to your nailbed. SNS uses the gel base that doesn’t need to be cured.

SNS is also healthier for your nails because they take it off and apply a new set every time. As opposed to acrylic where you would get a fill. So your nail is clean and new every time.

But be mindful of the fact that none of those nail processes HAVE to be detrimental to your nails. If you have a qualified nail tech, your nail will be healthy. Damage occurs before applying nails and while taking them off.

Back when I used to get acrylics, I would experience a reaction. My cuticles would flare up and peel. Why? Because the application of acrylic called for acetone and my nails reacted to being depleted of all moisture. I don’t deal with that with SNS. So yes, it’s better.

Oh and here are the ingredients y’all speak of. I personally don’t care about them saying the products “help” your nails with the “vitamins” because they’re usually exaggerating but I feel and see the differences in my nails and those who get SNS over acrylic or nothing at all.pic.twitter.com/wF6DkStSnO
