Sadly the high car payment is due to ppl being cash poor. They’re putting down like 2k tops & if they have shitty credit their loan rate is insane.

I bought a 2006 Toyota Camry a year and a half ago for 2k. I’ve since put 26k miles on it and have to change the breaks and tires, that’s it. But ppl like to stunt

How many miles were on it? That’s really good but unfortunately things happen like accidents and everyone’s won’t be well functioning like yours being older. I’m glad it worked out for you though.

Like 190,000. I checked hoses, inspection sticker, breaks and most importantly (IMO) the tread on tires. Got it from an owner on Facebook market place. Reason why I say tire tread is most important is because it’s a good way to gage how much care was given to the car.
