The amount of ground covered by Nivea in that few minutes is ridiculous. From her growing up poor, to her running the streets from 14-18, to her manager harming her in some way, to being with lil Wayne/dream, the industry not accepting her, her being ghetto, it’s just... so much.

When she talked about the label not wanting to promote her over Ciara and Ciara selling sex whilst denying men of sex. She made points. The envy over trying to stand out against artists like solange & erykah. So much so much so much.

Her talking about getting used to being “normal” broke me last night. She basically said she was a star and that was her lifestyle but now it’s reduced to mere motherhood and she’s more than that. I just. So many women ancestors with that testimony.
