I think it’s so interesting how they tackled having multiple friend groups and what place those friend groups play in your life.

It looks as if Tiffany used Issa’s friend group as the party group but you can tell from season one how Tiffany keeps to herself and enjoys her “superiority” over that group.

With her “Crazy Crew”, she seems right at home. Extra pretentious and happy with that. All the women in that friend group are just like Tiffany. Jack & Jill blacks.

They look like her, sound like her and are in the same point of their lives as her. Tiffany definitely needs that. But does she not need her other friends anymore? Just because they’re none of these things?

So on one hand, Tiffany has a homogenous group of friends who offer support, but only from HER vantage point. That’s not a good set of friends. I don’t see them checking her for her obviously problematic behavior because they share those traits.

But with the conflicting friend groups, you can definitely see Tiffany cutting them off because they don’t share the same ideology as The Crazy Crew. It remains to be seen how she’s gonna handle it but I see it coming.
