I’ve been a Miguel fan since 2011. That’s the first time I saw him live. All I want is you/art dealer chic era. Just him. A mic. And his material. Look how adorable and young he was.

After that, he released Kaleidoscope Dream and the tour/press run from that included a full band. Live music really brings his music to life. He also had a cohesive style to go with his new material. This is Philly TLA.pic.twitter.com/VvEI19LOOr
So now we have a band, a style and then they’d do a lot of lights. He’d also have the band members dancing with him during certain songs. You could see him really trying to perfect his craft. Little by little.
Fast forward to the Wildheart Tour. We have a live band, cohesive style (they all wore white) and he introduced the mic stand.pic.twitter.com/QpGzyqDUAx
The material was wayyyyy more rock centered and even his more R&B songs were revamped to have the live rock feel he intended. Crowd surfing included.pic.twitter.com/iwLn29WKeJ
Moving on. War & Leisure Tour. More stage props. More intricate lighting. More growth. Same energy.pic.twitter.com/JdpeOsrUw4
This was only in April. It’s September. What has Miguel added to his set? More stage props. Dancers. And background vocalists! 5 months! Took his show to the next level.
“Going to hell” you can see the dancers here. They’re really intricate to the show.pic.twitter.com/92prtq2Qws
“Girls like you” he added a portion where he basically goes through his old discography and sings with the crowd. This was also before he sang me a freestyle about me wearing his tour shirt. PS. We both had on red pants

All in all Miguel is an AMAZING PERFORMER. He keeps getting better. His shows KEEP improving. Watching his growth over the last seven years has been inspiring and I will never NOT BE A FAN.
