So like water dosing rods. Now my family in the N. Appalachian, ohio area call that old fashioned/superstition,but still do it lol. Here in KY that's just a skill, like a regular thing ppl can tell you who in their family does it & will give you their number to hire them

In central Ohio, I lived in Columbus. Areas basically outside of the App foothills, I've heard the same thing called "witchcraft," and is actually spurned by most people or laughed at as being silly old wives tales.
