i really think this isn’t as black & white as you’re seeing it, friend, but i definitely understand your POV.

It’s not black and white and I’m explaining the nuance wholly. It’s ok if you don’t necessarily agree but there’s plenty merit behind it.

oh i agree there’s merit behind it but i also think that every situation is different and thus allowing for different reactions at times. i for example, don’t mind it at all bc i view it as people letting me know i’m not alone in whatever i’m experiencing.
