The thing about natural remedies is they take way more discipline than antibiotics. You have to change your entire diet in order to get the effects of natural remedies. They usually take longer as well.

This is why preventative measures trump everything. You won’t need antibiotics if the foods you’re ingesting have the antibiotic properties you need to fight off various infections.

That’s if you catch the problem early enough. There are resistant infections. Lot of women get bv/yeast infections/Utis chronically and doctors will mix antibiotics with preventative measures.

So I’ve seen doctors use meds and boric acid suppositories for the treatment of chronic bv. They work in tandem.
