The author of this piece seems totally blind to the fact that these conditions exist and “sneakernets” necessary due to the communist totalitarian dictatorship in which Cubans reside. The conditions that brought this about should’ve been worth at least a passing acknowledgement.

All for lifting the blockade, what better way to spread capitalism and free market principles to Cuba. But if you’re suggesting the blockade is responsible for Cuban state suppression of access to the internet within the country, that’s just silly
