Are US customs demanding access to social media on entry now? I saw an optional request on ESTA form.

They're apparently asking for passwords to social media, but also PIN for smartphone, then copying entire contents.

Not just that, but if, like me, you have Gmail and work mail there, they become available too. Plus all your photos.

That is a gross invasion of privacy.

Their country, their rules. And you have no idea where the data would be stored or who'd have access. Awful data protection.
