@BoingBoing@skippypoppin arent there good reasons one might want to prioritize some network traffic? net neutrality says no. -
@msgnet can you give an example?
-
@skippypoppin voice call. simple one. -
@msgnet I could see that, but VoIP companies were doing fine under net neutrality, weren't they?
-
@skippypoppin I didnt think net neutrality was the law currently -
@msgnet some grey area but I believe FCC rules mandated it until now. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2014/04/24/technology/fcc-new-net-neutrality-rules.html?_r=0&referrer= …
-
@skippypoppin right, FCC passed net neutrality rules in 2010. Verizon successfully challenged those rules in 2014. -
@msgnet is it fair to say that nn was the default policy of ISPs before 2010?

@BoingBoing @wilw Except airlines let disabled folks board even before the rich, but net access isn't covered by ADA.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@BoingBoing @wilw I blame Ford, he analysed the Model T to find what part failed first & degraded the rest to match, it set a bad precedentThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@walkeroh “@BoingBoing: What can airplane boarding procedures teach us about the FCC's plan to gut Net Neutrality? http://boingboing.net/2014/05/01/broadband-net-neutrality-and.html …”Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
