@cben I think prob too intellectually complex for mass appeal. Also cost of portraying in film - but could be done now with far better CGI.

@melissacwalker@BoingBoing The storytelling in Dune doesn't lend itself to filmmaking as well as LOTR. But inadaptibility is no crime.
