@BoingBoing Card says substantial amounts of his royalties go directly to pushing his hateful agenda. I'm not paying for that.

@BoingBoing Having heard@Shades_of_Mauve 's commentary from a talk he gave, I'll be boycotting all of his work. Obviously a personal choice -
@pyoor@BoingBoing Regardless of effectiveness of boycott, many people ask themselves "Do I want someone like that to have my money?" -
@Shades_of_Mauve@BoingBoing And the answer for me is 'no'. :)

@BoingBoing: Why I'm not boycotting Ender's Game-- if you don't separate the art from the artist, you lose a lot of good artThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Doesn't blacklisting require institutional power? boycott =/= blacklist MT“
@BoingBoing: not boycotting Ender's Game http://dlvr.it/3dRcPb ” -
@LadyDreamgirl true. I think the article it quotes mentions the effort to get DC to 'drop' Card, so it's being viewed as 'blacklisting' him -
@jujyfruit0 as I recall DC shelved the Card/Superman comic due to a promised boycott &loss of the artist, I don't think that is blacklisting -
@LadyDreamgirl well, semantics aside, I guess I do take that as a form of blacklisting - getting a company to shelve a project based on -
@jujyfruit0 I don't think it is possible to set semantics aside, people tend to dismiss semantics in argument, but precision of words matter
