They asked him politely to get off the tractor and he resisted arrest.

Lol at being brokenbrained enough to genuinely believe this.
-
Which part of what I wrote is false?
-
The part where your brain is somehow broken and thinks that public execution is the punishment for “resisting arrest”.

The police are legal gangs.

In Canada, it’s pretty bad for First Nations people. While police do good things, the problem is that it’s mostly a system of enforcement for the haves vs. the have nots. Tie this with racism being endemic to the creation of the social structure...

Last I checked an officer does not have to provide the warrant before the subject is secured.
-
Last I checked the penalty for simple trespass wasn't death. Nor was death the penalty for resisting arrest. It DOES, however, seem to be the go-to for contempt of cop.
-
Not justifying the death, but don't expect resisting arrest to be handled without some level of force.
-
If cops can't handle unarmed resistance without killing the person, they shouldn't be cops.
-
I don't know what exact kind of force was used based on the article. Maybe they shouldn't be cops. Maybe people with warrants should just go to jail when told. Maybe some cops need better training. I didn't clean anything from the article about the killing being on purpose.

If only: Man: show me the warrant Officer: will that get you off the tractor? Man: yes Officer: here you go. now come down Article is light on details but cited expert says the officers escalated too quickly. Bottom line the guy should still be alive.

Cited unnamed expert. Anyone that has been to court can find an 'expert' to back their version.

Uh, oh. Louisiana is just behind Florida in legalized murder. Definitely not a state where you want to live.
