Yet another #SchoolShooting, and in congress stops bipartisan legislation from coming to the Senate floor.
We must find the cause of the shootings and eliminate it from our society. Whether it is indoctrination, mental illness, or another factor, it must stop.
Conversation
Our hearts go out to all affected by the shooting in California.
As Senator, I will push research to find the core of this issue and push for laws that will hopefully end these tragedies.

Research? How much god-damned "research" do you need?
Will you promote and vote for GUN reform?
Back ground checks?
Assault rifles?
Red flag laws?

Background checks and red flag laws, yes. No arguments there. Gun styles aren't the issue I see, though.
These incidents of violence are coming from some element of our society that needs fixing. If it wasn't guns, it'd be bombs (as we saw a few years ago) or other weapons.

Yep, that's pretty much what I got from your tweet.
It's mental health.
Don't take mah guns.
Yeah, right. 👎
Unfollowed.

A ban allows lawmakers to pat themself on the back, having placed a bandage on the problem.
Under the bandage the problems that are causing the violence persist, fester, and re-emerge in some other way.
Bans do not work. We must treat the cause of problems, not the symptoms.
