Is this some advice from him on how to look at the problem of thought and proprioception he mentioned in Thought as a System (if I remember correctly)?

This guidance is spread across his books, videos, and audio recordings. I would suggest his main published books along with the audio recordings of his seminars and his dialogues with Krishnamurti as the material from which his guidance could be understood.

Who is "we"? It depends on who "we" is. If "we" is ego (separate self), David Bohm is correct. But if "we" is true self (non-separate self), we are observing not the material process itself, but the content of thought, the idea, the feeling.

The material process is carried out by our brain; Contact ⇒ Attention ⇒ Feeling ⇒ Perception ⇒ Volition. This world is the projection of our mind. As David Bohm said, "The way we see depends on the way we think."
