I really enjoyed having the F/A-18 aboard my first of 3 ships
@USSMidwayMuseum it is really a testament to the@USNavy pilots that more didn't crash than they did trying to land on a pitching, rolling Carrier at night. It is a fantastic design with plug & play engines and so on. -
I really meant it: if you're good fly in turtle-waxed
@BlueAngels F/A-18's if you're better fly@NASA Shuttles but if you're the best go try to fly on and off the deck of the Midway because that was quite the challenge but these men had families to get back to.
