I am particularly gratified that this bill incorporates key elements of the Youth P.R.O.M.I.S.E. Act, which I first introduced in Congress over a decade ago, as a way to reduce juvenile delinquency and gang involvement.

I hope it’s not going to be forgiving crimes, similar to what occurred that partially enabled the Stoneman Douglas tragedy.

They won't be put onto Adult pedeo prisions and be taught how to become monsters.

This is wonderful! I do hope funds are available to all these programs for help. Kids are in and out of jail continuously in our area.

How come you do not have organizations or agencies supporting this? Or commenting of the value of this bill? The lack of support or excitement from the actual communities that will benefit from this suggests y'all passed some more BS.

I respectfully disagree with your opinion on this matter. While I appreciate your dedication, I believe the act trivializes juvenile offenses.

I respectfully disagree with you. The previous law trivialized the individual implicated in a crime. A juvenile with a dark history gets the same punishment as a child who made one mistake. Judges were throwing the book at good kids that made a bad choice.
