Bobby, we don't decide what occurs to us - ideas, the words I'm using now, simply occur; they present themselves to me, and I'm limited to whatever presents itself, and what I choose is dictated by past experiences, and best guesses. We don't have free will.

It's good that what you choose is dictated by your previous experiences—otherwise it would be random and not based on your beliefs & values. I wrote two articles on this topic that refute the no-free will argument from multiple angles. The argument you cite is superficial.
