    Texas has banned abortion for millions of people, and the Supreme Court has done nothing to stop it — effectively overturning Roe v. Wade. This is wrong and it won’t happen here in New York under my watch. We will continue to fight for the reproductive rights and health of all.

    Happy to join my colleagues in sending a letter to and welcoming Afghan refugees to New York. It is our duty to welcome all Afghanis who worked with the US Gov over the last 20 years.

    NY has always been a beacon of refuge for those escaping conflict. It’s time again that we live up to our values & provide a safe haven for Afghanis fleeing the Taliban. Read the letter my colleagues & I sent to & welcoming refugees to our state
