So I can hear both, and can even transition between the two by thinking and trying to hear the other. Though going from Yanny to Laurel is easy, but the reverse is a bit harder to get back to hearing.

it's actually more about the pitch of the audio. if you increase it you'll hear laurel, and if you decrease it you'll hear Yanny/Yammy.
