Sometimes I think about people who’ve only supported me when I was on the same level as them or bigger and that makes me sad. Believe in people who do cool shit. Defend them to others. Ignore their follower count. EVERYONE starts at zero.
This isn’t about people who find you along the way. This is about people who have been there the whole time, distancing themselves when they think you might fail & coming out of the woodwork when you hit milestones. Fuck those people.
