The game feels modern to me, but I play the PC version. Console versions of Payday 2 have always been really far behind in updates.

Devs (and publishers) are enjoying some extra bucks on Switch users. Some games do are better on Switch, but we also had our share of bad ports. Still, I hope pricing come to better standards in the near future.
