I've noticed that I have to sign into Chrome every time I restart it since the last Windows update, which was not the case before. Could be the software itself.

Wull, okay. ~rethinks~ Perhaps it's Chrome itself handling cookies wrong. Try logging out of Chrome, clearing your cache and cookies, restarting Chrome, and then log back into both Chrome and YouTube.
