But for real, though. Any creators out there have advice on how to keep someone's interest when there's so much initial setup before we can get into the "meat" of a video?
I'd say as long as you touch on the main topic in the very beginning, you can get away with a long exposition. That way the viewer will at least know that you'll get there eventually lol
Yeah, I kinda treated it like a thesis statement. Mention early on that it's coming up, but then immediately shift into, "Okay, but here's what we need to talk about first..."
