Do game developers usually lay people off this much around this time of year or is this a new thing that I should be worried about?

@BobWulff I think it's normal procedure, I hear game programmers get burnt out within a year in most cases
@kevinciminelli I say this because they recently just shut Irrational, Sony Santa Monica just layed people off and so did Eidos
