I don't mind the question at all! If you ONLY want to play GBA games, I hear a modded GBA with an AGS101 screen is the "best" in that it's the most faithful experience to playing GBA games. You can grab a flashcart and play your ROMs that way.
I second that. If you only wanna play GBA games, just get a GBA and a flashcart like an everdrive. If you want to save some money and get an all-in-one, I'm fond of the new PocketGo.

I third this. If that’s a saying... GBA AGS-101 in a good day can be picked up for the same as one of these modern emulation devices. Then just buy a flash cart for £20 and boom!
I think I need one of the expensive flash carts, since I'm mostly interested in Pokemon, which uses the Real-Time Clock feature x__x
