So many podcasters have Shure SM7B mics and they all sound like crap. They have no idea how to use them. I think they just buy them cause they think they are cool and “the mic to have” on a livestream. Learn how the hell to EQ the mic so it sounds good.

Question. Do you use a cloud lifter or anything similar? The SM7b is a very hard mic to drive, so most audio interfaces don't have enough oomph to drive them.
