The craziest response to me pronouncing Mario "wrong" is "dude he says his own name in the game. It's a me, Mario" as if he doesn't say it with a CARTOONISHLY THICK ITALIAN ACCENT YOU FUCKING MORON

I see what you're saying but all I can read is "I'm not saying it wrong, everyone else is, including the character himself". We all know names have various pronunciations. It's just hard to believe Nintendo has been having its own characters say it wrong.

Mario isnt saying it wrong. Nobody says it like Mario except Italians. Everyone region has a different way of saying it and they’re all FINE
