I've got mine yesterday was downloading all my eShop games overnight and even manually got my backups from the servers. Now I'm commuting and none of my games will work bc my lite which I got for a bit more portability needs an internet connection to verify the games.
My GameStop said they were doin a midnight launch for the Switch Lite but they aint open (◕︿◕✿)

you need to make sure the Switch Lite is set as your "primary" switch. Then it won't need to verify your game purchases. Your "secondary" switch will always need an internet connection.
