There was an officially licensed overwatch switch case which got people thinking overwatch would be on switch soon.

Why would they make an Overwatch case now if they didn't make one for literally any DLC character? Also I don't think they're gonna make a new smash announcement until 2020

A long time ago..... Blizzard made a statement saying they wanted to see Diablo characters in smash. Obviously that wouldn't really work HOWEVER blizzard do have a couple properties with characters that have more personality..

With that being said Nintendo has been using the smash ballot from the last game pretty fatefully. Look there and maybe we'll find out answer....
