I couldn't help myself and I made a comment about 4K movies aren't really 4K. They're shot in 6K, compressed to 1080p for fx teams, then upscaled back to 4K, but they don't have to upscale for real-time playback, so it's better than any TV upscaler or the mClassic.

well there are 4K movies that use 4K masters... so that's not quite correct. funnily enough, there are even movies that use 4K masters on standard bluray, so 4K masters down sampled to 1080p

Very cool! Resolution matters most when your talking about screen size and viewing distance. In my case I usually play the Switch on a 4K projector and 120inch screen. The Switch... Well it could look better on a screen that big... 1440p isnt 4K but it would be a big improvement.
