Yes. I still use the launch iPad Pro and it still works amazing. Works even better if you have a Mac for apps like AstroPad and the upcoming Apple Sidecar feature. There are also plenty of apps that work great as a standalone. I mostly use Clip Studio

Alright good to know. I am booty at using a standard drawing tablet. I always have to draw it physically and image trace into illustrator and the process is getting old haha

Why Clip Studio? Over Procreate or Afinity Pro?

Procreate is great too. I do mostly line art and Clip Studio looks way more lile Photoshop than Procreate does. I also like the halftones. If you do digital painting, Procreate is probably the way to go

Genuinely considering upgrading my MacBook solely to get that sweet sidecar action. My 2015 MBP is just outdated enough to not be compatible for use with my 2017 iPad Pro.
