I don’t know how either. They had to have merchandising and promotional stuff made up at this point. Now it’s all gonna be scrapped?! Sonic with his beautiful human teeth might fetch a pretty penny on EBay now.
Also like, changing his character design isn't gonna help much if the plot still revolves around his ELECTRIC QUILLS lol

Story interpretation is fine. That doesn’t bother me so much. I thought everything seemed overall fine minus his look (which i ironically adore). We know it’s the robotnik movie anyway.
