Oh since you all asked: I opted to use an NVIDIA graphics card instead of an AMD because it's better for editing with Adobe programs, where as AMD would be better for Final Cut. NVIDIA cards aren't supported under Mojave yet, which is why I'm using High Sierra.

I've always wanted to make a hackentosh although I don't know anyone with a Apply computer, so I can't download the os.

NVidia isn't any better when tested. Where did you get those results from? Linus Tech Tips compared the two and they got similar results in Adobe programs

Those results were in windows, which could differ from results in Mac os
