1TB Micro SD cards are coming in a few months and they're a good bit faster than the cards most of us are using now for the Switch. Exciting stuff.

Ah, I haven't tested any of these cards with 160MB/s read to see if there's much of a difference. Might be worth taking a look at.

Ah I see, that's a UHS-II card that I don't think the Switch supports fully. Did you try it with a UHS-I card like the SanDisk Extreme 64GB that seems to be claiming a read speed of 160MB/s? I'm not sure what the Switch does with a UHS-II since they don't have it fully supported.

Yeah, we're pretty much talking about a difference in seconds even if the Switch could take advantage of the card. Just interesting.

      Doesn't UHS-1 have a speed cap?

Yeah, you're talking about Bus Speeds. Might be worth taking a look at the SanDisk one though since this is their line in the disclosure for the 160MB/s they are claiming. Wonder if the Switch would work with it.pic.twitter.com/xTQOKja7VN

Most top-end UHS-I cards cap ay 95MB/s but the theoretical limit for that bus speed is, 104Mb/s IIRC. I have an UHS-II Lexar Micro SDXC-IIcard that does 285Mb/s but we all know Switch doesn't support it.

Well, iot supports SDXC-II cards but they fall back to SDXC-I speeds.
