I think I'm just always gonna upload my videos at 60fps even if I don't shoot it in 60fps because the bitrate is just so much better and YouTube doesn't crush the quality as much.

So true, but for gameplay footage it looks so much better so kinda worth it
well yeah. in my last 2 videos the gameplay footage was 60fps (when the games allowed for it) and the shots of me were 24fps. I'll probably stick with that for a while

Curious how you came to the decision to just shoot 24 as opposed to 29.97, 30, or 60?

well i guess technically it's 23.98. it just looks more cinematic. plus the file sizes are smaller and the unedited footage is usually about 45min to an hour long so they can get pretty large at higher framerates. Also, if I shoot b-roll at 60 i can slow it down to 40%
