What I learned from my comments today is that nobody has any solid rhyme or reason as to WHY something is retro, other than the subjective nostalgia associated with it.

The definition of Retro is technically “design from the recent past” so even 360, Wii, and PS3 could be considered retro since they are not the “current gen” and are no longer in production.
I consider them retro, but people get all bent out of shape because it makes them feel old lol
