Those articles are written by two completely different people.
yeeeeah i know. i just remember it was given a lot of negative reviews back in the day. It feels weird to hear them say it's "still a masterpiece" given the criticism. I for one, LOVED IT.

Yeah, I remember it had a mixed reception and I never gave it a shot because of it. It seems like a game that was a bit ahead of its time and has aged really well since people still clamor over it. Funnily enough, I just checked Metacritic and it has a solid score.
