It's v.strange esp because you tested old Firmware, docks, etc. but thought its worth mentioning. One of the only things I can think of that could have changed while all variables remain the same: Nintendo's Speedtest servers and the numbers they report down to the console. Maybe it was a server-side change on their end. Of course we'll probably never know the truth here.
