This is the first thing I turn off when using any HDTV. It makes low-framerate content appear as ~60fps, but introduces a heavy input lag for games and can cause visual artifacts at the edge of moving objects. It's literally only useful when watching sports broadcasts.

Never, ever, ever turn on any frame interpolation or motion blur effects in TVs, it's "ups" your refresh rate by creating fake frames and just fucks with your games and movies

I mean games are already at close to the tv highest frame rate, 60 so no significant diff. could probably make games look a bit better. FOR THE RECORD LEAVE THIS ON. (60fps video for life

This message is like 8+ years late, I turn this off on literally every TV I come across lol. It should have never been a universal setting, if it's meant for sports it should have been locked to the Sports scene preset that most TV's have
