      Okay, so this is my job and he had valid points about software and Nintendo having the network infrastructure of a shit hub. He's obviously not covering packet loss and per packet load balancing which is more consistent over LAN (Obviously) and consistent ping to the server (c)

      USB 2.0 can still transfer rates up to 500 mbps, so USB should have literally no problems, i actually have a lan adapter for my Wii U at the moment I want to run some tests on the dynamic DNS and google's public DNS and i'll post my results.

      Oh and even if they updated their ports to 3.0 I doubt this would resolve the problems the switch is even experiencing, given that 2.0 should be handling speeds short of 150 down/ 10 up just fine.

      Interesting that even the ping is so high on the Switch lol That's true that they could throttle USB 3.0 just like they did with 2.0. My hope is that since the speed-ceiling was higher with 3.0 that even if they end up throttling it that they'd raise their arbitrary data cap

      Have you tried these tests with the Switch's Wifi controller? It'd be interesting to see how much different they are to the LAN adapter with ping included
